Araca Energy ASA was founded in 2006 as a limited liability company under the name Aladdin Oil & Gas Company AS. The company converted to a public company in 2007 and changed name to Araca Energy ASA in 2015.

Araca Energy is listed on the NOTC A-List in Norway under the ticker ARACA (ISIN NO0010318405).

The strategic goals for the company is geared towards additional acquisitions and bringing into production of attractive oil and gas assets mainly in the CIS and the MENA region.

Araca has 1,479,145,808 shares. Par value is NOK 0.25.

Araca complies with the Norwegian Public Limited Liability Companies Act (ASAL) and comes under the Norwegian tax regime.
